If you have been fantasizing for a semi-detached house as your dream home, please act fast! because the New Sabah Times reported nearly 50% of the 64 units have been sold. So hurry up!
KOTA KINABALU: TPPT Sdn Bhd, the developer of Putera Perdana recently held a Hari Raya open house in conjunction with the sales launch of its semi-detached double-storey houses.
Whilst work is still in progress, it has already sold nearly 50 per cent of the 64 units constructed. Expected to be completed by July 2011, it’s priced from RM334,495 onwards, with three design layouts to choose from.
TPPT was set up by Bank Negara Malaysia in 1990 to provide affordable housing for Malaysians. It does not add unnecessary frills such as resort living and gated community to mark up the prices.
As the semi-detached houses are still under construction, New Sabah Times was taken for a tour of its double-storey terrace house show unit, with a starting price of RM225,800. For that price, it is without doubt value for money. The design concept is very practical and spacious. There are no odd nooks and niches.
Its backyard is about 20 feet long, allowing ample extension of the house, or design according to the need. Otherwise it can be used to grow your favourite plants and flowers.
Its family area in the first floor has a 20 feet high ceiling, thus quite airy and with the skylight to enable natural light to fill the room. The upstairs consists of the master bedroom with bathroom attached while the two other bedrooms share a common adjoining bathroom.
The ground floor has a porch which can accommodate two cars and a bathroom besides the living area, dining room, kitchen and utility room and wash area.
All in all, it has four bedrooms with three bathrooms.
The double-storey terrace has two floor designs to choose from. All are ready to be moved in with minimum renovation required which by itself is a huge saving on time and money.
The response for the double-storey terrace and semi-detached was overwhelming during the launch. Type A Acaccia was completely snapped up while only 30 units of the semi-detached houses were available. A good number of the house buyers were from the academia and education sector.
Putera Perdana promises wholesome vibrant living amid idyllic setting and greenery, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Yet, it is close to tertiary learning centres such as Universiti Teknologi Mara, Universiti Malaysia Sabah and Politeknik Kota Kinabalu. Hospital Likas is not too far away. 1Borneo Hypermall and the Nexus Karambunai Resort are within easy access.
Adjacent to Putera Perdana is Taman Putera Jaya, another project by TPPT. It was completely sold out and the occupancy certificate (OC) delivered in 2000.
By now, the developer has already earned a reputation of delivering on time, on top of quality and competitive pricing. Many of its house buyers are repeat customers who want to upgrade, or recommended by existing customers.
TPPT’s other project in Sabah is Taman Ketiau, another mixed development. Comprising 938 units of apartments, double-storey terrace houses and shop lots, it is fully sold out and OC obtained in 2004.
